UPSC CSE Mains 2025 registration to begin; check details here

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will begin registrations for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains today (June 16, 2025). A total of 14,161 candidates have qualified to appear for the mains exam. Eligible and interested ones can apply on the official website till June 25, 2025.

Complete registration and then login.
Fill out the application form.
Pay required fee and upload documents.
Submit the form and take a printout.

Registration Fee
All applicants have to pay the registration fee of Rs 200 for admission to the CSE Main examination, except female, persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates. As per the official schedule, UPSC CSE 2025 Mains is scheduled to begin on August 22, 2025, and will continue for 5 days.

If applicable, candidates can also update their details regarding submission or updation of scribe, any assistive device, or requirement of the question paper in larger font. Candidates who have changed their name, or have a different name from their matriculation, can submit their gazette notification during this window.
